What’s your favorite way to travel to Disney World?
You can take an Uber or Lyft from the airport, rent a car to use while you travel around Disney property and the Orlando area, or you can choose to take some Disney transportation. If you choose to take the Mears Connect Driven by Sunshine to Disney, we’ve got some news you need to know!
Since their beginnings, Mears Connect and The Sunshine Flyer have been a way for you and other guests to travel to Disney World together. However, even after the recent merger of these two options, if you’d like something a little more exclusive, you can get direct rides!
The company offers express rides which are shared with other guests, but give YOU direct access to your hotel or the airport. The express service minimizes your travel time by making your hotel the first stop after leaving the Orlando International Airport and the last stop before heading back to the airport.
Express shuttle guests could travel in a motorcoach bus or van — the vehicle may be different for arrival and departure. Before the merge, Sunshine Flyer offered direct rides that were private and more customizable, but this option is no longer available.
Prices on this mode of transportation will vary depending on your travel dates, so keep that in mind when booking ahead of time. And as always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
