While a few areas of Shanghai Disneyland reopened after the resort
closed in March 2022, not everything officially opened.

Shanghai Disney Resort announced a partial reopening in early June, and the Wishing Star Park, the World of Disney Store, and Blue Sky Boulevard reopened on June 10th, and Disneytown, the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, and the Disneytown Parking Lot reopened on June 16th. Now we have details about the park itself!
Shanghai Disneyland will officially reopen on June 30th, 2022! Tickets go on sale on June 29th.

Daily capacity will be limited and health and safety protocols will be enforced in accordance with government regulations, including social distancing. While most rides, shows, shopping, and dining spots will reopen, other experiences like the Explorer Canoes, Selfie Spot with Mickey, and Marvel Universe will remain closed.

Tickets go on sale on Shanghai Disney’s official website, app, Weixin/WeChat account, and a few other spots as well. A limited number of tickets will be available daily, and the ticketing counter will be available on a rolling 30-day basis. Onsite ticket booths will be closed, so guests are encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time.
Dated Tickets and General Admission tickets will be available. If you have a ticket with a particular date, check with Shanghai Disney Resort to find out if your ticket is still valid.

Shanghai Disneyland Annual Passes will be available on June 29th, 2022, and passholders will be required to make park reservations in advance via a 30-day reservation calendar. Passholders can schedule up to three reservations per 30-day window.

All guests will be required to present a green Shanghai Health QR Code and a negative Nucleic Acid Test taken within 72 hours prior to visiting. Guests will also need to scan the “Venue Code” and provide a green code, and any hotel visitors will be required to provide a green Telecommunication Data Based Travel Itinerary Card and complete the Health Declaration Form.
Temperature screening will be provided at the park entrance and masks will be required indoors and outdoors, unless dining. Social distancing will be required in lines, shows, restaurants, and more.

Visiting Shanghai Disneyland will require more planning than you might be used to before COVID-19, but make sure you’ve got all your ducks in a row if you plan to visit. And check out all the fun you could experience in their video below!
