Actress Joanna Barnes, best known for her roles in both The Parent Trap movies has passed away at the age of 87.
The Golden Globe nominee passed in her Sea Ranch, California home after battling multiple health problems.
Barnes was best known for her roles as Jane Porter in 1959’s Tarzan: The Ape Man, and her roles in both The Parent Trap movies. She played Vicky Robinson in the 1961 film, and the same character’s mother, Vicki Blake in the 1994 remake.
Barnes was born in 1934 in Boston, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Auntie Mame. Our thoughts are with Joanna Barnes’ family.
