When the CDC announced updated face mask guidelines for fully vaccinated people earlier this month, many theme parks followed by relaxing their mask policies for guests in the parks.
Now, both Disney World and Universal Orlando no longer require that masks be worn by guests in outdoor settings or when actively eating or drinking indoors, and SeaWorld Orlando does not require guests who are fully vaccinated to wear face masks throughout the entire park. And, there are still some adjustments being made to the policy at SeaWorld.
According to an employee email obtained by Spectrum News, SeaWorld will no longer require that employees who have been fully vaccinated wear masks beginning May 25th.
Employees will be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated and will then wear a sticker on their nametag identifying that they are allowed to go without wearing a mask.
Other theme parks in the area, like Disney World and Universal Orlando, are still requiring that employees wear face masks while at work.
We will continue to keep an eye out for continuing changes to health and safety measures in the parks, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest.
