Following several delays due to the pandemic, Black Widow is now set to debut in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access on July 9th, 2021.

Marvel recently released a new trailer for the upcoming film, and now another milestone has been reached — the movie has received an official rating.
As reported by Comicbook.com, Black Widow has now been rated PG-13 for “intense sequences of violence/action, some language, and thematic material.”

This rating is likely not a surprise for Marvel fans, as it’s in line with what viewers have come to expect for the ratings of other Marvel movies.

Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova, has previously said of the film, “The storyline that we are telling is very horrifying. It’s about women that have been, essentially, abused and trained up to be killing machines.”
We’ll continue to be on the lookout for additional details about Black Widow as the release date approaches, so stay tuned to AllEars for all of the latest updates!
