These Hotels are Worth Staying Off Disney Property

While these on-site hotels do have their perks, you may not want to stay on Disney property if you are visiting other Orlando attractions, or you want to get a great deal. Today, we’re looking at some of the hotels that are totally worth staying off Disney property!

We asked our readers on our Facebook page and compiled a list between our team’s answers and yours! Let’s take a look at the best off property hotels.

Disney Springs Hotels

The most repetitive answer we got was the Disney Springs hotels! One of the most-liked hotels in this area is the B Resort & Spa.

Another resort that many readers liked is the Holiday Inn in Disney Springs! This location offers special ticket deals when booking a stay, and you can use the complimentary transportation to each of the four theme parks.

Th Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista was also mentioned quite a few times! Team members have really enjoyed their stays here in the past, and the resort has numerous amenities like a gorgeous pool area.

Other hotels in this area include Best Western Lake Buena Vista, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, and DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando.

Not only are these hotels very close to Disney Springs, but they come with their own set of perks as well! Most of the hotels have a shuttle service to the Disney theme parks, which is usually one of the biggest reasons people stay in a Disney-run resort. As far as non-Disney resorts go, it’s hard to beat the location of these!

Flamingo Crossings Town Center Hotels

One of the newest additions to the Orlando area is the Flamingo Crossings Town Center. The new shopping and dining area will offer several restaurants breweries, a Target, and lots of hotels. Some of the hotels in this evolving area have already opened!

The Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando has officially opened at Flamingo Crossings. The resort has a variety of room sizes to choose from, is pet-friendly, has a pool, and offers free breakfast!

This hotel is also a “Gateway” hotel meaning that it can be booked as part of a Disney ticket and room package on the Disney World website. The hotel itself is within around 15 minutes from each Disney World park.

There are plenty of perks for the hotels at Flamingo Crossings. Some hotels will even offer a Disney planning service for their guests! Not all of the hotels have opened, but a few that you can expect in this area are Home2 Suites, TownePlace Suites, and SpringHill Suites.

Margaritaville Resort

If you want a fully immersive experience not in the Disney realm, Margaritaville Resort may be for you! With a gorgeous island-inspired atmosphere and a huge pool area, this resort experience will make you feel like you’re at the beach.

This is still pretty close to Disney World, so it could still be a part of your vacation. Margaritaville Resort also has lots of deals going on for things like long stays and Florida and Georgia residents!

Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort

The Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort was recommended by many readers! It is full of activities from a lazy river to mini golf and everything in between.

This resort is about 20 minutes from the Magic Kingdom and is pretty close to the Margaritaville Resort!

This resort gives you the full resort experience with lots of activities to keep you occupied. After a long day in the parks, we wouldn’t mind going back to a pool like that!

Universal Hotels

There are lots of people who want to combine a Universal Orlando trip and a Disney World trip into one. So, if you’re more interested in Universal, you may want to stay at a Universal Resort!

Aventura Hotel

There are quite a few options to choose from, and they are all unique. A couple of resorts remain closed, however the Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Cabana Bay Beach Resort, and the Endless Summer Resort- Dockside Inn & Suites are open!
