It’s time to party, friends, because Universal Orlando is celebrating Mardi Gras in a BIG way!

The Mardi Gras 2021 International Flavors of Carnaval is taking place at Universal from February 6th through March 28th this year. While, guests will find special entertainment, snacks, and a Mardi Gras Tribute Store, this event is all about partying with your friends and family! (Go big or go home, right?)
And, we’re ready to take you with us on our FULL adventure!

In addition to the entertainment and activities, there are a dozen food booths where guests can enjoy bites featuring international flavors.

With the purchase of a Festival Tasting Lanyard for $55, guests can try 10 items from the booths. And, Annual Passholders can snag an exclusive lanyard for $65 to try 15 items. Don’t worry — we’ll swing back around to all the food we try during our visit to Universal’s Mardi Gras festivities!

After you’ve snacked your way through the park, you can also visit the Tribute Store that has 4 themed rooms, each with its own tie to the festival.

And, it’s even serving up some special treats inspired by Mardi Gras! Keep checking back with us as we give you a full tour of the Tribute Store today!

In the meantime, though, you can check out places like the Universal Studios Store for outfits and accessories that will let you dress to impress! While you can always don some beads (of course) or a Mardi Gras mask…

…the shelves are stocked FULL of items to celebrate the holiday! You can show off the fact you celebrated Mardi Gras in Universal’s celebratory tee for $25…

…the bright purple shirt with various Mardi Gras decorations for $27…

…and even a pirate themed shirt for $25!

If you’re heading to Universal during a hot, sunny day, you can fashion the Mardi Gras Tank for $30…

…along with the Mardi Gras Hat to go along with it for $26.

But, for those nights that the temperature drops, you can cozy up in the themed Mardi Gras Jacket…

…with a pirate on the back…

…as well as the Mardi Gras Hoodie for $57 each!

Although we’re thrilled to take you around Universal with us today, you can also have a Mardi Gras party on your own at home with the Universal Studios Glass Tumbler for $10…

…Universal Shot Glasses for $10…

…and Pirate Mug for $15!

Plus, you can find keychains, pins…

…candy…

…lanyards…

…and beads in the store while you’re browsing for your next purchase!

But, merchandise isn’t the only thing you can find at the Universal Studios Store…

…because the Krewe Crawl is also available to guests as additional entertainment! Just like the Christmas Tree Crawl and the Scarecrow Stalk, the Krewe Crawl is pirate-themed for Mardi Gras!

The map can be purchased in various stores for $7.95 only in Universal Studios Florida with “X’s” to designate where treasure lies and X marks the spot!

The prize at the completion of the Krewe Crawl map is a special set of Mardi Gras beads that you can wear with pride and joy.

Plus, there are photo opportunities with three different festive floats! The floats are stationary so you can take a photo in front of them…

…to commemorate your trip to Universal Orlando during the International Flavors of Carnaval!

This is definitely a fun way to celebrate Mardi Gras! Get dressed up in your purple, green, and yellow and head to Universal to join in on the festivities! And, stay tuned as we give you a look around the parks today.
