Two Magic Kingdom Attractions Will Be Reopening EARLY!

Over the last week, we’ve noticed that the Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom have begun to refill with water after a lengthy refurbishment.

We were hoping that we would get an update soon regarding the attractions along the Rivers of America, and it looks like we may be able to hop back on the Liberty Square Riverboat and visit Tom Sawyer Island very soon!

We previously learned that these attractions were scheduled to remain closed through the end of February, but it looks like they are opening a few weeks early! Disney World’s refurbishment calendar includes both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island through Thursday, February 4th.

However, on Friday, February 5th, the Riverboat as well as Tom Sawyer Island no longer appear on the refurbishment calendar!

When we checked on the attraction’s operating hours, we also noticed that it appears to be available starting this Friday!

We’ll keep an eye on the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island this week and we will keep you up to date with all the latest information!
