With schools across the country closed, many parents are now finding themselves in the unenviable role of being teachers…which means coming up with a curriculum. While there are plenty of resources out there for math and history, one thing that’s a bit harder is coming up with an arts curriculum that’s not just binge-watching Disney+.

Luckily, Disney has developed a full-fledged performing arts curriculum, and it’s available absolutely free! You’ll be singing Hakuna Matata in no time with The Lion King Experience!
This web-based program was originally developed for schools performing The Lion King on stage, and features behind-the-scenes footage from the Broadway musical, including introductions from Jelani Remy and Sydnee Winters, who played the roles of Simba and Nala in the show, respectively.

The course, which is divided into Kids (ages 8 to 11) and Jr. (ages 12 to 15) courses, features age appropriate lessons like creating an original song, designing a concept for theatrical lighting, or creating your own mask. Access is 100% free, allowing you to bring the power of art and creativity into your own home during these uncertain times.
You can find the complete experience here!
