I Still Have Thoughts About This $9 EPCOT Snack My Editor Made Me Try

I didn’t expect a $9 snack at EPCOT to live rent-free in my head for days.

Tuna Poke Bowl

My editor recently told me to go try a new festival snack at the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and I’ll be honest, I went in with a bit of skepticism. Festival food booths, while generally great, can be hit or miss depending on the dish and the price. But after trying this one, I walked away with a lot of thoughts and a new potential go-to lunch in EPCOT.

The snack in question is the Tuna Poke Bowl from Nectar, and it costs $8.79.

New booth alert!!

At first glance, this dish already looked like a solid value. You’re getting a bowl filled with sushi-style sticky rice topped with tuna, edamame, avocado, mango, pickled red onions, seaweed salad, furikake, and an umami sauce tying everything together. For under $9 at a festival booth, that’s a pretty impressive lineup of ingredients.

Tuna Poke

Let’s start with the rice, because it really sets the foundation for the whole dish. The rice had that perfect sticky texture you want in a poke bowl. It held everything together nicely and had great flavor on its own without feeling bland or overly heavy.

Then there’s the tuna. Festival booths don’t always knock it out of the park with seafood, but this tuna tasted fresh and high-quality. It had that clean flavor you hope for when ordering something raw in a theme park setting, and the portion felt generous enough to make this feel like a real meal rather than just a snack.

What really made this bowl stand out, though, was the balance of all the other ingredients. The pickled red onions brought a sharp tang that cut through the richness of the fish and rice. The seaweed salad added a slightly briny flavor that felt right at home in the bowl. Then you’ve got the mango and avocado, which added creaminess and sweetness that brightened the whole thing up.

And the textures were fantastic. You’ve got soft rice, tender tuna, creamy avocado, crunchy veggies, and the slight chew from the seaweed salad. Every bite had something different going on, which kept it interesting from the first bite to the last.

Honestly, this might be one of the best festival values we’ve had in a while. The portion size is big enough that it easily works as a light lunch while you’re walking around the festival. That’s not something you can say about every festival dish.

There’s also a plant-based version of this bowl available that skips the tuna but keeps the rest of the ingredients. That one costs $6.29, and it still delivers the same mix of flavors and textures. It’s actually one of the stronger plant-based festival dishes we’ve tried lately, which is always nice to see.

Would I get this again? Absolutely. In fact, I’m already thinking about grabbing another one the next time I’m in EPCOT during the festival. That’s usually the sign that a festival dish really worked for me.

Now, while the poke bowl was the one my editor insisted I try, there were two other snacks we sampled that are also worth mentioning. First up are the Cinnamon Beignets from The Citrus Blossom, which come tossed in lemon sugar with lemon glaze and a honey mead blueberry compote on the side for $5.29.

Did somebody say beignets?!

These surprised me in a good way. The beignets were thick and doughy in the center rather than super airy, which made them feel a little more substantial. The lemon flavor is strong thanks to the glaze, but the blueberry compote helps mellow it out with some sweetness. We were also pleasantly surprised to find whole blueberries in the sauce instead of just a smooth puree. This one felt very shareable and would probably be a hit with both kids and adults.

Then there’s the Garden Vegetable Flatbread from Trowel & Trellis, which costs $5.99.

This one is piled with roasted vegetables, arugula salad, and Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs cheese. The portion size alone makes it a standout for the price. The Boursin adds a creamy, herby flavor that pairs really well with the roasted veggies, and the arugula gives the whole thing a fresh, slightly peppery finish. It’s bright, flavorful, and honestly big enough to split if you’re snacking around the festival.

The 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 4th through June 1st, which means there’s plenty of time to check out these dishes for yourself. And if you see me walking around EPCOT with another poke bowl in my hand, just know that my editor might have been right about this one.
