Disneyland has a new after hours event that we’re so excited for! Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites will bring back fan-favorite Disney offerings to celebrate the park’s 70th anniversary.
Disney delivered an awesome character lineup for Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites, and we met some of our old friends again! It’s only for two nights, so you’ll need to run if you want tickets.
The character we were most excited to meet was Flik from A Bug’s Life. We love seeing him in the parks, and yes, we’re still mourning the loss of A Bug’s Land (which closed in 2018).
Merlin from The Sword in the Stone was also visiting!
We also met Mother and Father, AKA John and Sarah, from the Carousel of Progress attraction! Let’s hope they didn’t leave the oven on to come hang out with us.
We also met the Fantasmic! monkeys!
And we can’t forget about our favorite “Long Lost Friends” from The Disney Afternoon! We met Scrooge McDuck.
Along with Huey, Dewey, and Louie!
Plus, we met Mickey in a special outfit!
Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites is held on March 3rd and 5th, 2026. Tickets start at $149 and include entertainment, exclusive photo ops, low ride wait times, and a commemorative souvenir! The event goes from 9 PM to 1 AM, but you can enter the park as early as 6 PM.
NOTE: As of writing, tickets are still available for March 5th! Snag them here if you want a unique Disneyland experience.
