Why Everyone Will Be Running to Disneyland on February 22nd

Disneyland has teamed up with the National Hockey League’s Anaheim Ducks for its annual Anaheim Ducks Day at Disney California Adventure. Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 22nd!

Founded by The Walt Disney Company in 1993, they were named the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim after our favorite hockey movie, The Mighty Ducks. Despite a not as magical rebrand, the Anaheim Ducks take over the park once a year to get back to their Disney roots.

The event will feature meet-and-greets with Ducks players, along with our favorite mascot, Wind Wing. Head to the World of Color viewing area to watch the “Take Fan Flight Rally,” where fans can chant to Anaheim Ducks DJ JoJo Maestrado and the Power Players. After, your favorite Anaheim Ducks players will take the stage for a friendly competition.

In their Hollywood Land takeover, the area will become a designated “fan zone” where you can grab photos, party with DJs, and test your hockey skills. There are also some exclusive food items only available on Ducks Day!

Ducks Day Brownie Cheesecake: Cookies and cream cheesecake with a brownie base covered with a dark chocolate shell from Schmoozies!

And as always, there’s exclusive 2026 merch to commemorate your Ducks Day visit! While we don’t have any specific details for this year’s lineup, previous years have seen mouse ears, t-shirts, and spirit jerseys!
