Parking at Disney Springs Is About to Get COMPLICATED

One of the best parts about Disney Springs, apart from it being home to some of our favorite restaurants, is that parking here is free!

That means walking around Disney Springs is a great activity to do on your non-park day, because if you plan to just browse and not buy, it doesn’t cost you anything extra. However, if you’re planning to drive your own car on your trip in early 2026, you may find it a little trickier, because one ENTIRE parking garage will be closed for refurbishment.

The Lime Garage in Disney Springs will be closed for a refurbishment for the majority of the first quarter (three months) of 2026. It’ll first be closed from January 12th through February 11th, then will reopen very briefly from February 12th through 16th.

However, then it’ll close again from February 17th through March 13th, with its official reopening scheduled for March 14th. It’s unclear exactly what this refurbishment will look like, but we’ll be checking in frequently to see how progress is coming along.

This means that when you visit Disney Springs, your choices for parking will be:

• Orange Garage (closest to West Side of Disney Springs)

• Grapefruit Garage (located behind Lime Garage; must walk over a skyway to get to Disney Springs)

• Strawberry Parking Lot (to the left of Watermelon Parking Lot, in between Disney Springs and Saratoga Springs)

• Watermelon Parking Lot (closest to Cirque du Soleil)

It’s very likely that the Orange Garage and Watermelon Parking Lot will be the most crowded while the Lime Garage is closed, so if you’re attempting to arrive on time for a reservation you previously made, we recommend allowing some extra time to park. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, remember to also look at the bus and/or boat transportation that’s available to Disney Springs from your hotel.
