The holidays are in full swing at Universal Orlando Resort, and that means there’s so much to explore in both parks.

Whether you’re heading to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure, there’s plenty of holiday cheer to find around the parks. However, one of our favorite parts of the season is Grinchmas over at Seuss Landing. If you’re hoping to experience it this year, here’s when you’ll be able to check it out, and what exactly you won’t want to miss!
Grinchmas takes place this year from November 21st, 2025 through January 4th, 2026. What you’ll notice first when walking into the land are all the gorgeous decorations high and low — it looks just like Whoville when you see how decked out the town is in the film! While we love it during the day, we especially recommend checking it out at night.

There are plenty of exclusive holiday snacks to try around the land to celebrate the holiday, but if you want the full experience, check out The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast! This will cost adults $58.99 plus tax per person and kids 3-9 $32.99 plus tax, and not only is it a great way to have a sit down meal filled with some favorite Whoville feast items, but you can also meet the Grinch without a HUGE line like you’ll find outside (we’ll talk about that more in a second!).

Looking for some extra special merchandise to help you celebrate this special occasion? Be sure to check out the merchandise locations in the land, because there’s a collection you can ONLY find this time of year. It’s perfect for fans of the film, those who love the holidays at Universal, or those who just want an item they can’t grab any other time of year.

When it comes to entertainment, it’s true that you can meet the Grinch and his trusty sidekick Max for no additional cost, but we’ll warn you that this line gets LONG. In fact, during this time of year, it’s easily one of, if not THE longest line in all the resort. However, it’s totally worth it to us. The Grinch is hilarious, and it’s truly unlike any other meet and greet out there. Pack your patience and bring some games to play on your phone or lots of conversation topics with your family and friends to pass the time!

The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular is also a wildly popular event that fills up FAST during the day. There are about eight showtimes each day, ranging from around 10:15 AM to 6:30 PM (but be sure to check the Universal app on the day of your trip to get the most updated information), but be sure you grab your spot early, because they do fill up!

Want to take the stress out of experiencing everything at Grinchmas and don’t mind paying a little extra for it? Then the Universal Holiday Tour may be for you! It starts at $84.99 plus tax per person, and includes a walking tour around the resort to see the holiday offerings, as well as a reserved spot for the holiday shows, a quicker line to meet the Grinch, and more. This is only available through January 3rd, 2026 though, so one day less than the full event!
