It's Official! A Nostalgic McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Returns Soon

It’s no secret that we love McDonald’s almost as much as we love Disney, but in our defense, the two loves often overlap (especially when McDonald’s Happy Meals have fun Disney toys).

Well, you can imagine our excitement when we learned that Boo Buckets will be returning to McDonald’s…and now we know when. You’ll be able to pick up your own Boo Bucket on October 21st (we’re already marking our calendars).

Yes, spooky season has arrived, so Boo Buckets are returning to McDonald’s. Boo Buckets have been a thing since the 1980s, and every year, fans swarm their local McDonald’s to snag them up. This year, they’ll be headed back to participating McDonald’s locations throughout the U.S., but you’ll want to grab them as quickly as you can because they are so popular

This year’s lineup of Boo Buckets feature some familiar spooky faces, including Ghost, Pumpin, and Goblin. Plus two NEW buckets will also be arriving this year, Cat and Zombie. Each bucket has a fun spooky expression, so you might just want to collect them all. You can even dress them up with Halloween-themed stickers to make each bucket you’re own.

So mark October 21st on your calendar and get to McDonald’s early on that day to snag a Boo Bucket for yourself. Once they’re gone, you won’t be able to grab them again until next year.
