When it comes to streaming services, there are almost too many to keep track of.

We love being able to watch our favorite classic shows, new movies, and more from the comfort of home, but it seems like they’re consistently switching platforms, causing us to have multiple services for one or two shows. Now, one popular show has had its 26 seasons removed from a streaming service due to tension with the creators.
Paramount+ has removed all 26 seasons of South Park from its streaming platform. The company has yet to publicly acknowledge the removal; however, it has responded to a consumer questioning the removal.

According to Syracuse.com, the company responded to consumers via email, writing, “Unfortunately, ‘South Park’ has come to an end of the window in which we have the rights to carry it on Paramount+ which is why is now has to come down from the platform.”

South Park’s removal from Paramount+ comes after tension between the creators of the show and Paramount Global. Paramount Global is currently working on a merger with Skydance, another entertainment company. Earlier in July, Comedy Central (which is under Paramount Global and is where the show airs) announced that Season 27’s premiere has been pushed back from its July 9th date.

Season 27 is supposed to premiere on Comedy Central on July 23rd, 2025. The show is still available for streaming on Max for fans looking to rewatch the series. As of now, 9 South Park specials are still available on Paramount+ despite the show being removed. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more entertainment news and updates.
