There are so many new projects on the horizon for the Disney theme parks.

Disney World is about to see the addition of a Monsters, Inc. Land, a Cars expansion, a Villians Land, and a Tropical Americas-themed land, and this does not even include all the new additions coming to Disney World this summer! Could a MrBeast-inspired area be part of the Disney Parks’ future?
According to a report from Business Insider, MrBeast is looking to expand his IP (intellectual property). Disney is a massive fan of its IPs, which include an expansive list from other companies like Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and ESPN. In fact, Bob Iger, the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, said that all projects going forward will be IP-based.

So, could the Walt Disney Company acquire the MrBeast IP? In February 2025, Beast Industries pitched a deck obtained by BI illuminates on MrBeast is looking to move beyond his YouTube roots. The deck goes on to pitch that Beast Industries is looking for a way to “diversify away from MrBeast being on camera” via a new IP within the “Beast Universe.” This could include toys, gaming, animation, comics, and merchandise. MrBeast already has a successful chocolate brand, Feastables, and a toy brand called MrBeast Lab.

Although Beast Industries has not pitched a theme park yet, other YouTube channels like Dude Perfect teased a theme park called Dude Perfect World at its Texas headquarters. So why is Business Insider comparing Disney and MrBeast? Well, according to their article, Disney is “losing its monopoly on kids amid YouTube’s ascension.” According to Michael Nathanson, a MoffettNathanson analyst, YouTube is on track to beat Disney (minus its parks) as the biggest media company in the world. So, could MrBeast help Disney keep their media dominance? Time will only tell.
