NEWS: Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil Are Performing for FREE in Orlando Right Now!

From dancers and singers to artists and performers, this unique Orlando event has it all! We went to the IMMERSE, an art festival in Downtown Orlando that runs for a limited time this February.

Whether you’re local or a tourist visiting for the weekend, you’ll want to stop by this festival to get a taste of what Orlando has to offer.

Meet IMMERSE Fest, a free event in Downtown Orlando where you can watch special performances and enter art installations. In fact, Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group are featured this year.

This event runs from February 21st to 23rd and covers ten blocks downtown! Performances run from 5 PM to 11 PM and include singers, musicians, dancers, acrobats, and more.

We were so excited to see Blue Man Group take the stage! Their new show opens April 3rd at Icon Park, where they have their brand-new 578-person theater. It’s close to Universal Studios Orlando and will be a fun pitstop to take on your vacation!

Performers from Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life were also at the event! The Blue Fairies showed off their unique unicycling skills, and Saulo Sarmiento, who does the pencil act for Drawn to Life, will perform his act from a crane on Saturday. The iconic hand and other performers were there as well!

Beyond shows, there were also plenty of interactive elements to enjoy! One of the standouts was Car Music, where live theater meets escape room, all inside a six-person antique van!

On Sunday, there will be a chalk art walk and a daytime fireworks show called Color the Sky. Nothing says Florida more than a fireworks show!

This event is a perfect taste of what makes Orlando…Orlando! From performances from local musicians and shows to installations from local artists, the word we can’t stop using is “local.” Everything about this event gives us the feeling of the Orlando community coming together to create one unique experience.

We highly recommend attending this event and experiencing what Orlando offers. The event is free, but you can upgrade your tickets for special viewings and entry to certain art activations.
