2024 has come and gone, and with it, Disney gave us LOTS of exciting news.
Last August, Disney announced new lands, rides, shows, parades, and so much more coming to the parks around the world over the next few years. Some of these, such as the Disney Starlight nighttime parade, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show, and the Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show will open this year, in 2025. However, some of the larger projects will likely take a couple of years at least to open. These announcements were wonderful for fans to hear, but now we’re hoping to get some more big news soon, as 2025 begins.
Disney’s Fiscal Year 2025 Quarter 1 Earnings Call will be taking place on February 5th at 8:30 AM ET. At this call, we’ll hear from CEO Bob Iger and other Walt Disney Company executives as they discuss what the financial earnings and losses look like from the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year.
Typically, during these webcasts, we learn about upcoming projects, with a lot of focus on streaming, Disney+, and ESPN. We may also learn about new movies or shows that are in the works. Sometimes, we’ll even get lucky and hear new details about things coming to the parks!
The primary focus of an earnings call is to let shareholders know how the company is doing financially, however, hearing pieces of new announcements is not uncommon as the company has the attention of some of its biggest fans. We’ll be tuning in to hear how the company has done this first quarter and for any new announcements for the parks, streaming, and more!
