It’s been months since we learned that there would be a new Harry Potter series coming to HBO Max.
Back in September, reports surfaced that HBO Max was looking for its Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and now there’s been a new update. It’s just been announced that the new series will begin filming in 2025!
HBO’s streaming service, Max, just announced on its Instagram account that the production of the new series will begin filming in Summer 2025 on the Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden lot!
This likely means that the casting process for the main characters for the first season is likely complete or nearing completion, so we could be seeing casting announcements in the coming months.
