Hold the presses; we’ve got BIG news to share! Universal’s newest theme park FINALLY has an opening timeline!

It feels like it’s been forever since Universal first announced plans for its newest park, Epic Universe. We’ve been tracking its construction progress as Universal has announced each of the lands one by one, and now they’re ready to reveal the biggest news of this park yet — when we’ll FINALLY be able to step inside!
This might possibly be the biggest theme park news we will receive all year, and now we’re one step closer than we’ve ever been before! Universal’s highly anticipated new park, Epic Universe, was set to debut sometime in the summer of 2025, according to its earliest announcements.

Epic Universe is the 3rd theme park for Universal Orlando in Florida and will have of 5 brand new themed lands — Celestial Park, How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.

Each of these themed lands will have their own set of rides, attractions, shows, entertainment, and restaurants to explore and what Universal has teased so far of it, makes it hard to hold off the anticipation much longer.

In addition to the lands making up the theme park, Universal will also be introducing 3 new hotels Terra Luna, Stella Nova, and Helios Grand Hotel that will receive phased openings leading up to the park’s debut. Universal’s Stella Nova hotel is set to welcome their first visitors as early as January 21st, 2025, followed by Terra Luna on February 25th, 2025, and Helios Grand Hotel has yet to specify a date but is anticipated for a 2025 opening, too.

Alright already, we’ve put off the BIG NEWS long enough! According to an article by the Wall Street Journal, Universal expects Epic Universe to be “fully opened as early as Memorial Day weekend of next year.”

This would put Universal ahead of their anticipated timeline, and we could see tickets for the newest park on sale very soon, according to the WSJ’s sources. As of publishing, Universal has yet to confirm a hard opening date for the park so this of course could change.
Of course we’ll be bringing you along for every detail as soon as Epic Universe opens (and along for the ride as we explore the park on its opening day!) Be sure to stay tuned with us at All Ears for all the latest updates and more!
