Some pretty major releases are coming to Disney+ soon!

We’ve already had our eyes glued to Disney+ recently thanks to Marvel’s new WandaVision spinoff Agatha All Along, but now we can’t help but watch Inside Out 2 on repeat since it debuted on the platform just this week. Speaking of Inside Out, Disney released some major updates about its spinoff show in addition to news about a new original series coming to Disney+!
The world of Inside Out is about to get a little bit bigger on Disney+, as Pixar’s Dream Productions is set to premiere on the streaming platform beginning December 11th, 2024.

As previously mentioned, this limited series is a spinoff of the Inside Out franchise and will focus on the studio inside Riley’s mind that produces dreams.
The show will feature the voices of Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Lewis Black, Tony Hale, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Phyllis Smith, and Liza Lapira.

Per Disney+, all four episodes of Dream Productions will premiere all at once on December 11th.

It was also revealed that Pixar’s all-new original series Win or Lose will premiere a couple of months later on February 19th, 2025.

The series stars Will Forte voicing a little league baseball coach and “reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters in the week leading up to the big game — the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire — with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives.”
Win or Lose has been in development since 2020 so we’re excited to see this show finally make its debut. The series will consist of eight episodes that will drop weekly.

Not all Disney+ news is good, however. The streaming platform is set for a price hike beginning October 17th, 2024. The ad-supported version of Disney+ will rise by $2 to $9.99 monthly and the Premium ad-free version with no ads will also rise by $2 to $15.99 monthly.

Disney’s other streaming services — Hulu, Hulu with Live TV, and ESPN+ — and their Disney+ bundles will also experience price increases, save for the Disney Bundle Duo plans, which won’t be affected.
The full breakdown of the upcoming monthly price changes is as follows:
- Disney+ Basic (With Ads) — $9.99 (Previous: $7.99)
- Disney+ Premium (No Ads) — $15.99 (Previous: $13.99)
