Planning a Disneyland trip for October? That’s so exciting, we’re thrilled for you!
A lot of us who have been to both parks believe that Disneyland is a lot less overwhelming than Disney World, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to do some planning! You’ll still want to think about which restaurants you want to try and grab reservations for the ones that require them, decide on whether or not you want to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Lightning Lane Single Pass, and, of course, make a list of all the rides you’d like to hit. However, if you’re thinking of stopping at one of these attractions, keep in mind that they’ll be closed for at least part of October!
All of Disneyland Resort’s closures for the month of October will be all centralized in Disneyland, and some of these are pretty big, so prepare yourselves!
Jungle Cruise will be closed at the beginning of the month, but thankfully, it’ll be reopening Friday, October 4th! Hopefully, if you’re visiting at the beginning of the month, you’ll still be able to get one ride in before the end of your trip.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant will also be closed for JUST October 1st. Thankfully, it’s scheduled to be open for the remainder of the month.
The Disneyland Railroad will be closed for the entirety of the month of October, which is a bummer, and we’re sad to say that “it’s a small world” will also be unavailable for the month as well. Keep in mind that this means that lines for other family attractions could be a little longer than normal, so plan accordingly!

Uh Oh. Will This Ride Permanently Close at Disneyland?
Which ride closure are you most bummed about for this upcoming month? Tell us in the comments!
They’re always closing down the railroad constantly! Even during popular times of the year! So lame and annoying. It causes all the other lines lots of backup very annoying
