Gather ’round because it’s time to talk about the restaurants in Magic Kingdom at Disney World.
And we’re not just talking about any old restaurant. No, we’re talking about quick service spots, and we’re insanely curious about which one takes the top spot at Magic Kingdom. We wanted to find out your thoughts on the matter. Well, we asked, and you delivered!
We reached out to our followers on Facebook and Instagram to ask: “What’s your favorite quick service restaurant at Magic Kingdom?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!
Now, let’s go over your top four responses!
Columbia Harbour House
First up, this spot is BY FAR your favorite quick service restaurant (it had the most mentions by you in the poll question). They’ve got great food and service, and it’s also a wonderful place to get a break from the blazing Florida sun.
AE reader Cathy shared, “Columbia Harbour House for the clam chowder and the trio platter with hush puppies.” Listen, don’t get us started on those hushpuppies (they’re so good we won’t stop!).
AE reader Robin shared, “My favorite to be at is Columbia Harbor House. Not for the food, but for the memories. It was my mom’s favorite place to eat when we went, so we did. She passed in 2020, so I go in there and just sit for a few minutes. Look around and remember my Mama. Geez I’m crying now lol.”
We’ve made many a memory while dining there over the years, but this one takes the cake.

Now, these next three were all basically tied for the next best restaurant in Magic Kingdom.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
If you have never been to Cosmic Ray’s you are in for a treat. The food is more consistent with your typical Disney theme park food, but that’s not the real draw to this spot. Not at all. You come because you’re hungry, but you stay for Sonny Eclipse.
To that point, AE reader Shawn shared, “Cosmic Rays! Have you seen Sonny Eclipse? 😂” And, AE reader Katie echoed with, “And always go in Cosmic Ray’s at least once to see the epicness that is Sunny Eclipse.”

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Let’s face it, sometimes you just need a quick bite to eat and a rest from the Florida heat. That’s where Pecos Bill comes in clutch! To that point, AE reader Robert shared, “For a quick lunch, we like to get the ‘Taco Trio’ at Pecos Bill’s.”
Also, AE reader Kelly shared, “Pecos Bill’s! We love it here!” It’s a restaurant that’s got a solid menu and a great atmosphere. Also, it’s right across the way from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, so you might want to mosey on over there after you’ve had a chance to digest and refresh from the long day.

Casey’s Corner
Last up, you shared what has to be one of our “staples” when it comes to Magic Kingdom quick service spots. AE reader Jill shared, “My son and husband love Casey’s Corner.” AE reader Sandi shared, “I have two that I go to every time Cosmic Rays and Casey’s Corner.”
As we said, we can’t count how many times we’ve stopped by for a quick basket of fries and corn dog nuggets to eat while staring at the beautiful Cinderella Castle. Who knows, this might be a right of passage at this point.

I gave this place multiple chances over the years, and it’s been consistently awful every time. I’m amazed that it pops up on anyone’s best list of anything. The food is overdone, dry, and bland. I advised my family and friends to avoid it.
Let’s face it. The food at MK is not that great. Some things are good, but overall, it’s mediocre. There are far better offerings throughout Disney World in both sit down and counter service categories. That said, the CHH is definitely the best of the bunch—for quality and value. Just don’t expect to be overly impressed.
