I go to Disney World every day to create content, which means Disney World is technically my office!
Being a Disney World expert who makes YouTube videos to help people plan their trips just might be one of the coolest jobs in the world! Not only is our office the Most Magical Place on Earth, but we commute on the monorail, and I have some pretty cool co-workers, too! Some pretty weird and unexpected things come with being a Disney World YouTuber.
Let’s dive into the five weirdest things about being a Disney World YouTuber!
Alright, number one, I have a very detailed knowledge of all of the bathrooms around Disney World.
It is my job, along with all of the All Ears cast, to know every single inch of Disney World. This means I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of Disney World bathrooms.
But this knowledge also means that I know where to find all the best bathrooms around Disney World and which ones to avoid.
The second weird thing is that foot health is a priority! Disney World is huge and we do a lot of walking!
We know not to mess around when it comes to taking care of our feet! Comfortable shoes are a must!

We try a lot of food at Disney World, including all the sugary goodness! So, number three may not come as a surprise, but we get a lot of cavities.
I promise we all brush our teeth, but we still get cavities from time to time because we try so many delicious snacks.
As I said above, one of the perks of being a Disney World YouTuber is getting to try all the new foods that Disney World has to offer, which brings us to number four. Sometimes, I get tired of eating Disney World food.
I would say that theme park food makes up about 70% of my diet, which is really cool, but sometimes I am not really super pumped to eat all of those iconic treats that I once used to look forward to eating on my trips.
The final weird thing about being a Disney World YouTuber is that we hold some personal grudges against rides and even certain characters.
I know that sounds really weird, but we do a ton of challenges in the parks that you can find on our YouTube channel. When a ride has a long wait time, or a character is hard to find, it can do us dirty in the challenges, and we can forgive, but we can’t forget.
I love my job, but I have to admit it does come with some weird and unexpected things!
I’m not a You Tuber but I have been to WDW many times so I also know all the best restrooms. Equally, my husband knows all the best benches outside of restrooms! Maybe that would make a good article!
A couple questions:
My wife and I go to lots of places with crowds: Disney, sporting events, music venues. One thing we pay attention to are the lines at the bathrooms. The line is usually very long for women’s bathrooms versus mens. A very unfair arrangement. As a man, I’d like to see that evened out. Does Disney make an effort to make bathrooms more equitable linewise?
The second question is if you eat all that Disney food, what is your routine to prevent weight gain? Whenever I see pictures of the AllEars bloggers talking about food or restaurants, the photos show you eating lots of rich treats and big plates of food.
Hi James! I can’t answer the first question because I am not a Walt Disney World employee, but in regards to your second question I can tell you that our reporters drink a lot of water and do a lot of walking. The last time I was at Walt Disney World myself, I walked 10-11 miles a day and burned around 2000 extra calories. Our reporters who go every day and do the food reviews know to bring containers with them so they can take the food home to enjoy later so we’re not eating full meals or even finishing full snacks every single day.
