Universal Orlando is full of exciting rides thrill-seekers will love!

Revenge of the Mummy

Over in Universal Studios, you’ll find thrilling rides like Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Escape From Gringotts, and Revenge of the Mummy. Heads up though, one of these rides is closing for a brief time this month!

Revenge of the Mummy will be closed in Universal Studios Orlando from June 17th-June 22nd, 2024.

The park hasn’t shared why this popular attraction will be closed, but we’re assuming it’s for some scheduled maintenance on this fast-paced, spooky ride.

There are tons of special effects in this ride that need to be kept in check at all times — lots of fire, moving animatronics, fog effects, a track switch, and so much more.

It’s a ride that we personally love, and know many of you do, too. So if you’re traveling to the park during this time, know that it won’t be available!

Now, when it does open back up, we feel it’s important to mention that not only is this a dark ride with spooky skeletons, mummies, and more, but it’s also a roller coaster! People who aren’t a fan of roller coasters have a high probability of not being a fan of this, and kids who aren’t old enough to really understand that this isn’t real likely shouldn’t ride either.
