Disney+ is the best place to find all sorts of Marvel content.

Between the movies, shows, specials, and more — there’s a seemingly endless amount of content to stream. But, that doesn’t mean we won’t get excited when a new Marvel series or movie is announced. The next Deadpool film is coming to theaters soon, but that’s not the only new Marvel content on the way!
Deadpool and Wolverine aren’t the only two Marvel heroes with an upcoming production in the works. According to Variety, a new series all about Vision is coming to Disney+ in 2026. Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas has signed onto the project as showrunner.

It also wouldn’t be Vision without Paul Bettany, who has agreed to return to the role for the currently untitled series.

We last saw Vision in the Disney+ and Marvel series WandaVision, where (SPOILERS AHEAD!) he reappears as a ghost creation of Wanda Maximoff’s magic, and then later as an android who eventually battled Wanda’s creation.
In the WandaVision finale, Wanda uses her powers to restore the ghost Vision’s memories while her memory of Vision fades from existence. The new show is set to take place after these events with ghost Vision likely exploring his new life.

This is Marvel’s first new live-action series in nearly two years, which is an example of how Disney is choosing to produce content for its streaming service from now on. Not only that, but Disney is also working on rebranding its live-action content output to Marvel Television and reducing the number of shows made per year to just two, down from as many as four.

Of course, this isn’t the only WandaVision spinoff coming to Disney+ — Agatha All Along is set to premiere in September. The series follows Agatha Harkness, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her role. Hahn will be joined by Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, and Debra Jo Rupp in the series, which follows Harkness as she attempts to regain the magical powers after she lost them in WandaVision.
