Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in Disney World SOON!
We’ve seen animatronic previews, new character critter introductions, and ride testing all leading up to opening day — which is officially June 28th! But, a select few groups will get to preview the ride early and we’re sharing all the details!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening in Magic Kingdom on June 28th and we can’t wait to experience it for the first time! And, select members of D23 — The Official Disney Fan Club — will get to ride it first.
Disney announced that as part of a separately ticketed event, D23 Gold Members will be able to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before it’s officially open. Not only that, but Gold Members can “ride the attraction again and again, then take some time to enjoy the enchanting evening ambiance of the bayou with live jazz performances and tasty treats available during this celebration of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.”
That’s right — ride the attraction over and over again while listening to live jazz and eating tasty treats?! Say no more! Details haven’t been shared just yet — like when this event will take place or how to get tickets, but Disney did say more information would be coming soon.
And, as part of the D23 member celebration, a 15th Anniversary theatrical screening of The Princess and the Frog will take place at Disney Springs, “where fans can enjoy the feature on the silver screen, accompanied by a special Mardi Gras-inspired cookie from the fan-favorite Gideon’s Bakehouse.”
That’s not all, though! There will be a D23 Gold Member Tiana’s Bayou Adventure event held on June 22nd at Magic Kingdom. The event is set to begin at 6:30PM. Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 16th at 1PM EST and will be $60 plus a $7 fee.
