While bad weather is certainly a regular occurrence for the Orlando area, and something both locals and visitors to Walt Disney World need to remain cognizant of, today in particular sees a massive weather warning wreaking havoc in the area.

A tornado watch is currently in effect for numerous Central Florida counties including Volusia, Flagler, Lake, Sumter, Marion, and Polk. While Orange and Osceola counties are not under said watch, they are geographically close enough that stormy weather and high winds will likely be affecting the resort today.

In addition to the on-the-ground aspect, this weather pattern is also having a massive affect on area air travel. Orland International Airport – MCO – has been hit with a large of number of delays and cancelations thanks to Mother Nature, with over 200 flights and counting currently affected, and over 20 already canceled outright.
