There’s an extraordinary event taking place in Disney World today!

Okay, it’s not only happening in Disney World, but the total solar eclipse is sure to be an exciting experience no matter where in the world you are. While the full eclipse won’t be visible from the parks, you’ll still be able to see part of it — and here’s what you need to know.
Heads up for folks visiting Disney World today! The total solar eclipse will be partially visible from the parks. Well, not completely. The event will be partially visible, Orlando is not in the “path of totality” — the “locations where the Moon’s shadow completely covers the sun.” But, part of the effects will still be visible.

Here’s a look at when the total solar eclipse will be viewable in Disney World:

If you’ll be in Disney World during the eclipse, make sure you are prepared and stay safe! Don’t look directly at the sun — and you can see NASA’s official recommendations below:
“Viewing any part of the bright Sun through a camera lens, binoculars, or a telescope without a special-purpose solar filter secured over the front of the optics will instantly cause severe eye injury. When watching the partial phases of the solar eclipse directly with your eyes, which happens before and after totality, you must look through safe solar viewing glasses (“eclipse glasses”) or a safe handheld solar viewer at all times. You can also use an indirect viewing method, such as a pinhole projector.”

But, if you ask us, the most important Sonny Eclipse has been at Magic Kingdom for a while now…
