NEWS: Disney CONFIRMS Release Date for ‘Toy Story 5’ Movie!

No matter what kind of Disney fan you might be, chances are you have a favorite movie.

While 2010’s Toy Story 3 seemed like a fitting end to the Toy Story franchise, Pixar surprised us by giving us another sequel and a spin-off. Earlier this year, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced yet another sequel is on the way, and we officially know when!

Mark your calendars because Disney has officially confirmed when the next film in the Toy Story franchise will be released. That’s right — per The Wrap, Toy Story 5 will be released on June 19th, 2026!

We know that Tim Allen will be back to reprise his role as Buzz Lightyear, but other than that — much of the details are being kept quiet.

Disney has quite a few movies on the docket for 2024, including Inside Out 2, Mufasa: The Lion King, The Amateur (20th Century Studios), Deadpool 3 (Marvel), The First Omen (20th Century Studios), and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (20th Century Studios).

  1. A franchise that has been run into the ground. With the exception Toy Story 2 it’s just been a money grab on the franchise.
