Waiting for all your favorite newly-released Disney movies to be put on Disney+ can be like watching paint dry.

A lot of folks have been anticipating the release of Wish on Disney+, which debuted in theaters in November, 2023. We guessed that Wish would come to the streaming platform in March. Well, it turns out that our guess was super CLOSE!
Scott Gustin shared on X that Wish will arrive on Disney+ on April 3rd, 2024. YAY!

The movie follows along with 17-year-old Asha, who learns the significance of a wish as she must save her kingdom from King Magnifico, whom she learns dangerous secrets about after serving as his apprentice.

According to Variety, the movie underperformed at the box office after it garnered $31.7 million over Thanksgiving weekend after it was projected to $45 to $50 million.

It’s entirely possible that the film will perform better on Disney+. We saw similar situations happen with films like The Little Mermaid and Elemental.
