It feels like we’ve been counting down this nite since its initial announcement late last year and it’s finally HERE!

Disney Channel Nite

Disneyland is known for its exclusive after-hours events aptly named Disneyland After Dark events and now we can finally stop talking about all the things we’ll be able to do, see, and experience and finally start living it! Let’s take a look at the food you’ll find during the event!

Disneyland’s Disney Channel Nite Is FINALLY here and we can’t wait to bring you along and show you the food you’ll find. The event took place on March 5th, but there’s another one coming up on March 7th!

During the party, you’ll have a choice to snag an exclusive meal at either River Belle Terrace or Cafe Orleans as an extra dining package experience.

At Cafe Orleans for $35 per adult, you’ll be treated to a prix fixe dinner that consists of 1 entree of your choice, 2 side items…

An advanced dining reservation can be made to enjoy this dining package between 8-11PM and will need to be canceled at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a $10 per person cancellation penalty. Additionally, a kid’s menu will be available to choose from if you have younger ones attending with you.

Over at River Belle Terrace, they’ve got a heartier meal in mind to serve you! Here, you won’t need an advanced reservation to enjoy this meal, you’ll simply just walk up and order.

We had to snag the Loaded Dino Nuggies, made with french fries and dinosaur-shaped nuggets topped with nacho cheese and buffalo ranch sauce, garnished with sliced Fresno chiles, bacon bits, and green onion. This masterpiece is $12.99 and is available at The Golden Horseshoe or Stage Door Cafe.

Loaded Dino Nuggies

Put dino nuggets on the menu and we are so there. These were cheesy, warm, and had a slight kick from the buffalo ranch and sliced chiles! The bacon added a saltiness that helped cut through the spice and overall this was a solid dish. The fries were your typical quick-service ones which we had no complaints about, but the dino nuggets were exactly what you’d expect from the frozen aisle at your grocery store. And we’re big dino nugget fans.

A solid option

We also grabbed the Bouncing Beary Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar for $4.99. You get two Mickey-shaped beignets with blueberry sugar and a berry icing drizzle!

Umm, WHAT is going on here?! These beignets reminded us of the flavor of a gummy bear but with a warm beignet instead. The berry drizzle was a little on the sour side which was an interesting combination with the sweet beignet. They didn’t taste much like natural berries but more like a berry candy!
