We have some exciting news. 🎉
We’ve seen quite a few changes happening at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn recently. From the room updates to the upcoming Cake Bake shop — we have a lot to look forward to within the hotel area. In 2023, we saw the closure of Boardwalk To-Go, a small snack stand at the hotel. We found out in July 2023 that Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs would take over the space, which sparked some lighthearted controversy among Disney fans. (Because not everyone appreciates a pickle corn dog. Yep, you read that correctly.) We finally have some updates on this, and we’re here to share ’em with ya.
We’ve been keeping our eyes open for progress on the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand, and we have finally seen some pretty major changes. This is not a drill! 🚨
Previously, we hadn’t seen much progress other than some hedges put in place where the queue for Boardwalk To-Go previously stood. We couldn’t really see what was goin’ on back there.
The old signage for Boardwalk To-Go is finally gone AND the stand has a new paint job! We love the yellow and white color scheme; we think it fits the retro vibe of the BoardWalk very well. We can’t wait to see how the entire stand begins to take shape as we get closer to the opening.
If you don’t know, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is a corn dog stand that specializes in — you guessed it — corn dogs. They have a variety of adventurous flavors to offer, like their controversial pickle corn dog we mentioned earlier. If pickles aren’t your thing, don’t worry. They also have a classic corn dog on the menu for you to enjoy!
Disney hasn’t announced an opening date yet, but once they do we will be sure to keep you in the loop. Keep checking in with us to see what we find next!
