So what new additions is the Disney Treasure really bringing to the Disney Cruise Line fleet? TONS! One of the things we’re most excited for is the new Moana stage show guests will be able to experience. It’s going to be called “Disney The Tale of Moana” and is the first time Moana’s story has been adapted for the stage.

New puppets are being created for the show, including a massive, fiery Te Kā puppet that will shed it’s skin to become Te Fiti. We also know Moana and Maui will perform the song “Warrior Face” that was removed from the animated film, as well as other classics like “You’re Welcome,” “We Know The Way” and “How Far I’ll Go.”

There’s also a new Haunted Mansion Bar coming to the ship, the first of its kind. The story behind the bar is that a Captain had a “disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé” and he’s now your Ghost Host. There will be tons of portraits in the bar of the Captain and other figures, flashing between their normal form and their “deathly” state.

Not to mention we’re beyond thrilled to be getting a Coco-themed restaurant called Plaza de CocoThe food will immerse you in Mexican cuisine while the atmosphere introduces you to the colorful town of Santa Cecilia. It’s one of the ship’s rotational dining options with “theatre-in-the-round” style entertainment across TWO nights of festivities. One night will pick up where Miguel’s story left off in Coco, and the other will celebrate Dia de los Muertos.
