On January 10th, 2024, Magic Key Passes resumed sales and it’s been pure chaos ever since.
Magic Key Passes are what Disneyland calls its Annual Pass system and they can be hard to come by nowadays. Renewals have been allowed since Disney paused Magic Key sales back in September, and if you were hoping to get your hands on a new Magic Key, we have some unfortunate news for you.
We hopped in the virtual queue this morning and it officially opened at 9AM. It took us about two hours to get through.
That’s when we saw that the Inspire, Believe, and Enchant Key Passes were sold out.
If you already own one of these passes, they are still available for renewal.
The Imagine Key Pass was still available for Southern California residents for a bit but quickly sold out as well. Disney said, “We have stopped sales of new passes at this time to help protect the experience for Magic Key holders and the value those passes provide.”
This comes after nearly nine-hour waits AT Disneyland Resort and some people waiting all day in the virtual queue online on January 10th.
Disney typically pauses sales not long after they begin, so we’ll let you know if/when new pass sales stop. Stay tuned to AllEars for more updates.
