Sometimes they overlap, like some Disney+ subscribers getting a free Disney Dining Plan to use in the parks. If you’re looking for something new to watch on the streaming service, don’t miss a new short film arriving next month!

This short film is extra special because it’s a hybrid stop-motion animated film. It’s called Self and it will begin streaming on February 2nd.

The short film, directed by Searit Hulu and produced by Eric Rosales, follows a wooden doll on her journey of self-discovery as she strives to fit in and blend in with her peers.

Stop-motion is not a medium of film typically used by Disney and Pixar, so we’re really looking forward to seeing what this new film will be like.
