Universal Is Inviting You to 8 DIFFERENT New Year’s Eve Celebrations

It’s hard to believe that we’re already talking about it but 2024 is right around the corner.

Before we get ahead of ourselves though, there’s still time to take in all of the holiday offerings around Universal Orlando while we wait for more updates on the latest in construction on Universal’s Epic Universe park and its two new hotels. And if you’re looking for a great place to let loose and celebrate the new year with a bang, Universal Orlando has so much to offer.

Universal Orlando Resort is set to host a variety of New Year’s Eve festivities to ring in the new year as we bid farewell to 2023 and say hello to 2024! The celebration will span the theme parks, City Walk, and select hotels.

Let’s take a look at what’s in store and where!

Theme Park Festivities

This year’s in-park celebrations will include BOTH Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. Not only will you be able to experience thrilling rides and popular attractions at night, but you’ll also be surrounded by festive décor while you dance along to music by a live DJ and enjoy special appearances by familiar characters.

As the clock approaches midnight, you’ll be able to join a special countdown in either park that will result in colorful confetti blasts and other celebratory elements. All of these special festivities are included in your theme park admission and will take place at Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza…

…and Universal Islands of Adventure’s Port of Entry…

…with both theme parks staying open until 1AM. And if you haven’t had an opportunity to visit before or just want to get in one last glance before the holidays come to a close, make sure you visit Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, and see Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s before the holiday season comes to a close.

Universal CityWalk

Universal CityWalk will be hosting a special countdown to midnight that will ring in the new year with TONS of confetti.

Their festive entertainment will include music by a live band and DJ – as they make their way around the electrifying entertainment complex. To really help round out your night, Bigfire will feature a special menu from midnight to 1:30AM commemorating the new year

Reservations for Bigfire’s NYE celebration times are encouraged and can be made online or by calling Universal.

Universal Orlando Hotels

The party doesn’t stop for you just because you’re not in the parks! Those looking to take their celebration to the NEXT LEVEL can choose from multiple specialty experiences to ring in the new year.  Partygoers can opt to say hello to 2024 at a New Year’s Eve rooftop party at Universal’s Aventura Hotel…

…or at the Party on the Piazza at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel.

Either way you choose to celebrate will feature food and drinks, a DJ, a countdown to midnight, and more festival offerings. Additionally, Hard Rock Hotel will host ROCK-in 2024!

This rockin’ celebration will be fun for the whole family with balloon artists, roaming magicians, a DJ, and a midnight balloon drop complete with a champagne toast for the adults.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort will host a celebration in Orchid Court Lounge and Sushi Bar with live jazz, a balloon artist, a stilt walker, and a photo booth…

…while Loews Sapphire Falls Resort plans to throw its New Year’s Eve celebration offering live entertainment with food and drinks in Strong Water Tavern. Those who attend will be invited to enjoy special meals and buffets spanning all the hotels.
