Disney+ and Hulu have officially merged — for folks who are subscribers of both streaming services, that is.

Disney previously announced that it would offer a “one-app experience” incorporating Hulu content under the Disney+ app. With this app, you’ll be able to access both Hulu and Disney+ content in one place. Now that the day has finally come, we’re looking at some of the most… unhinged things you can now stream on Disney+.
Listen, I’m not here to argue the moral, artistic, or historical value these movies and shows will have on society for years to come, mkay? But I think we can all likely agree that it’s a little… weird to be able to stream these titles on Disney+ now. Okay, and maybe I think some of these shows are just unhinged, period.
Dateline & 20/20
I have gone to enough therapy to recognize that there’s something inherently unhinged about enjoying crime-based docuseries like Dateline and 20/20. I am also guilty of binging seasons of these shows. Life is about balance, okay?

But, there’s something sinister about the subject matter of these shows more often than not, and being able to watch an episode on the latest cult to take over a small town in the middle of nowhere on Disney+ is just odd.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The Gang Gets Streamed on Disney+. If you know anything about this satirical take on modern society through the eyes of bar-owning, degenerate citizens of Philadelphia, you know that its themes don’t exactly scream “family-friendly streaming service.”

But, there is an entire episode about a pirate door and another about a water park, so really — it’s basically a Disney show. And if you see me at Disney World security asking about their spaghetti policy… no you didn’t. You know, because of the implication.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians
Let’s not act like following someone around for nearly every second of their life isn’t unhinged.

Whether it’s your favorite show, guilty pleasure show, or favorite show to hate-watch — you can now stream Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Disney+.
The Jersey Shore
If you’re looking to GTL without having to switch back and forth between apps, have no fear — The Jersey Shore is here on Disney+.

Fair warning, though, you may notice a sudden uptick in “anonymous” letters strewn about your house.
Dance Moms
Whoever thought a reality show that featured children being verbally abused by a dance teacher was a good idea was seriously unhinged.

But, Dance Moms is still available to stream today, and it’s now on Disney+ thanks to Hulu… so there’s that.
Rick and Morty
The Disney+ and Hulu merger brought a lot of adult animation to the platform, but Rick and Morty might be one of the least family-friendly of them all — despite being about a family.

Even though it’s a cartoon, the most popular themes explored in this show include political upheaval, dysfunctional family relationships, trauma, and more, but presented in a comical, self-deprecating way.
The Handmaid’s Tale
The Handmaid’s Tale is based on the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name, and follows a woman on a journey as she tries to escape a dystopian, religious dictatorship.

The show itself isn’t necessarily unhinged, though the subject matter certainly is. But, the fact that you can now stream it on Disney+ seems a little “dystopian nightmare” to me.
Dr. Pimple Popper
I don’t really feel the need to explain this one or go into detail.

It’s exactly what you think it is. So, yeah. Unhinged. Mad respect to this doctor and all she does, though. I’m just absolutely not watching it.
The Exorcist
Ignore the fact that you didn’t even know about The Exorcist TV series that ran on Hulu from 2016-2018 and instead, focus on the fact that you can now watch it on Disney+.

Despite your feelings about any of these shows or the Disney+ and Hulu merger, hopefully having both streaming platforms under one app makes your life just a little bit easier.
