The Surprising Truth About Festival of the Holidays CROWDS in EPCOT

It’s a big day in EPCOT…the first day of the Festival of the Holidays!

It’s happening!

We’re excited to try all the eats, check out the merchandise, and enjoy some awesome entertainment from the holiday storytellers and the Candlelight Processional.  But it looks like we’re not the only ones ready for this big day…let’s take a look at the crowds!

When we first arrived this morning, there were already people lined up outside the park. It was a little hectic out in front of Spaceship Earth as we waited for rope drop.

Crowds!

As we got back further into the park, things started to disperse a little bit. There were longer lines for Joffrey’s kiosks in the morning, but that’s to be expected — gotta get that caffeine fix!

Even when the booths started to open though, we didn’t notice very long lines. Some were complete walk-ups, which is kind of unusual on the first day of a festival.

In fact, we were expecting much heavier crowds for a festival kickoff — especially one that falls in the middle of a holiday week! Where are all the people?

So empty!

Even when lunchtime rolled around, it still wasn’t too busy in the park. This might be one of our easier festival days if things stay this slow!

Not busy at all

We’ll continue to keep an eye on the crowds and update you if things start to get busy. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
