Disney World is a place that’s chock-full of secrets and hidden features!
If you’re a fan of hunting for details like easter eggs and hidden Mickeys, you’ll love searching for those things in EPCOT. In addition to those hidden details, there are a number of “top-secret” places, and some of them may even be hidden in plain sight — so keep an eye out for them on your next trip!
Florida Blue Lounge
Chances are that if you’ve been strolling around the World Showcase, you might have found yourself in the Morocco Pavilion. Way in the back of the pavilion, you’ll find the Florida Blue Lounge.
This lounge is available for all guests, but it does require you to sign up for messages and alerts from Florida Blue Medicare. When you sign up, though, you are consenting for them to use your email and phone number for marketing to you. You must be at least 18 years old to sign up, too.
This lounge is a great spot to rest around the World Showcase and take a break from the sun. We love how much seating is available inside and how elegant and new everything feels. Not to mention that there are multiple complimentary drinks you can get here, including cold brew, tea, juice, and sparkling beverages.
Plus, from 12-5PM, you can even get henna done! How cool is that?
The lounge is open from September 1st through November 18th from 12-6PM. Check it out on your next visit!
Inside Shangai Disney Resort
Over in the China Pavilion, if you’ve never noticed it before, the House of Whispering Willows Gallery has a “secret” display room that many people overlook.
This area is home to an exhibit that provides an inside look at the Shanghai Disney Resort.
Here is where you can discover all the wonders of that park and get a sneak peek of it too!
It’s also a great place to take a break from all that Florida heat and the crowds. Keep this place in mind and give it a visit on your next trip.
Disney VISA Photo Spot
Over at EPCOT, you’ll find a Disney Visa-exclusive character meet-and-greet spot near the Journey into Imagination pavilion. What you’ll want to do is walk to the left-hand side of the pavilion (if you’re facing it) — past the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.
That’s where you’ll find a sign for the Disney Visa Photo Spot!
Head inside and you’ll get access to a private meet-and-greet location. You’ll get the chance to meet some of your favorite Disney characters here. You will need to present a valid Disney Visa card to enter, so just be sure to bring that with you.
And keep in mind that the hours here can be quite limited. For example, as of the time of the writing of this post, the spot is generally only open from 1PM to 6:30PM daily, so be sure to factor that into your plans.
Gardens behind Katsura Grill
Over in the Japan pavilion, you’ll find Katsura Grill. But we’re not going there just for the menu. The biggest points go to the ambiance.
It’s got some seriously beautiful areas on the outside of this restaurant that you have to take time to enjoy.
They’re such quiet and peaceful areas that will make you feel like you’ve entered an oasis.
Make sure to visit them on your next visit.
Waterfalls in Canada Pavilion
No doubt you have noticed that the Canada Pavilion is a gorgeous place.
Especially those gardens on your way to Le Cellier.
But if you keep going further back, you’ll come to an area that a lot of people just never see. You’ll almost find yourself face-to-face with a beautiful waterfall.
There’s usually no one in this area, so if you need a breather and looking to beat the crowds, there might not be a more scenic place.
Those are only just a couple of the “top-secret” places that are hiding all over the parks, so keep an eye out on your next trip to Disney World! We’ll keep bringing you all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.

There’s a not so secret quiet place at Epcot over by the Leave-a-Legacy display just outside the front gate near bathrooms and a water fountain. It’s got some shade and places to sit and smokers can get a bit of what they need nearby too.
