There’s a NEW Reason to Eat at The Polite Pig in Disney World!

Among our favorite Disney Springs restaurants is The Polite Pig, which serves up a variety of meat dishes and sides.

The Polite Pig is known for its ever-changing menu and seasonal side items, and we’re always on the lookout for menu changes and additions in hope of something new to try. Well, it’s our lucky day, because in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, there’s a NEW menu item up for grabs.

The Polite Pig shared on Instagram that for the duration of Hispanic Heritage Month, you can grab the all-new Chef Special, which is a Smoked Half Chicken al Pastor.

This dish is a smoked half chicken (Who would have guessed?) that’s been infused with chipotle pepper and achiote marinade, and then glazed with gajillo chili and topped with pineapple pico de Gallo. It’s then served on a bed of sofrito rice.

While Polite Pig didn’t mention exact dates as to when the Smoked Half Chicken al Pastor will leave the menu, Hispanic Heritage Month ends on October 15th. We can probably expect the dish to leave the menu around then!
