Do you use Disney gift cards?
We know a lot of y’all probably buy Disney gift cards as gifts, but a lot of us also buy them to use at Disney World and Disneyland (and it also helps with budgeting if you’re using a gift card for purchases). However, there IS a way to save money on those gift cards — do you know the secret?
Disney gift cards can be used for just about everything, including food, merchandise, and even theme park tickets and hotel reservations. If you know how to get a discounted gift card, you can save money on a variety of costs you might encounter for your next Disney World vacation.
So how can you save money on gift cards? Go to Target! You’ll need to have the Target Red card, which is Target’s store credit card. Here’s the thing: if you use your Red card to buy Disney gift cards, you can score 5% off Disney gift cards. That might not seem like a lot, but if you’re looking to use those gift cards for a Disney World trip, 5% might save you quite a bit.

Caution. Disney quit using the hard plastic cards for the gift cards at Target and has them now encased in a thin cardboard shell and the card is also paper. When you go to remove the silver strip off the back of the paper card it peels off the code. This is happening to quite a few people including me. I have urged guest services to go back to the hard plastic gift cards.
