Even though Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has “not-so-scary” in the name, there can be some frightening parts of the party.

No, we’re not talking about the villains or the Boo to You parade. Not even mentioning the creepy Halloween treats. We’re talking about CROWDS. Are they really as scary as they may seem? Let’s find out together!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event which means that only a certain number of people can come into the parks. However, dates have filled up for the year (including the first night, which we attended) so keep that in mind if you are going this year.
FULL GUIDE to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2023

Guests with party tickets can enter the park as early as 4PM and, well…it’s still business as usual in Magic Kingdom at this time. However, the lines outside grow longer will party guests ready to haunt Main Street. Here’s a look at we entered the park.
It’s almost show time! Magic Kingdom opens to party guests at 4 p.m. today, and the parks close to those without party tickets at 6 p.m. pic.twitter.com/C7QJzb6OHx

As we joined the crowd to get inside, you can see lines were rather long to scan in, however, they did move quickly.

Once we were on Main Street, U.S.A., we were directed to enter to the right for the party. Here you’ll see more crowds gathering to enter.

As we entered the Emporium to check out party exclusive merch, we did see crowds of people around it. If you are wanting merch, don’t forget you can also go to Star Traders in Tomorrowland.

Crowds have started to increase as we get closer to the official party time start. You can see more folks on Main Street below.

We also saw loooonnnggg lines for those Halloween popcorn buckets. If you are wanting to snag these during the party, be patient. These items are popular this year.

Closer to the end of the night, while it seemed crowds were thinning out in some places…

…that was because EVERYONE was on Main Street watching the final shows, or heading out for the night.

Even after the party had officially ended, the crowds 5 minutes after heading out of the park were still pretty high.

What do you think? Although the crowds may seem a bit scary at the earliest time you can enter the park with the party ticket, the crowds should continue to dwindle throughout the night. We’re covering everything at the party so keep following AllEars for updates.
