This Airline Change Could Impact How You Check In For Your Flight

For those of you taking those last-minute summer vacations or planning fall and winter vacations, it’s important to stay in the loop when it comes to airline and flight details.

Low fares could be coming your way!

With the amount of travelers continuing to increase while the amount of international and domestic flights continue to decrease, a lot of airlines are adapting by implementing processes to make check-in and boarding more efficient. One popular airline will introduce new check-in processes SOON, and you could be affected!

Frontier Airlines announced that as of August 16th, all Frontier ticket counters will close for check-in and bag-drop 60 minutes prior to flight departure. This could actually be good news, because the previously allotted time was 45 minutes.

So, this just gives you 15 more minutes to get yourself and your luggage checked in and ready to go. However, we really don’t recommend waiting until those 15 minutes can affect you before checking in, obviously.

Have you ever been late for a flight or missed check-in?

Like most airlines, you can check-in online via Frontier’s website. You can also begin the baggage check-in process if you’re planning to check a bag.
