Spooky season is around the corner, and Disney is getting ready for the occasion!
The Haunted Mansion movie will be hitting theaters soon, and Disney has been dropping tons of new merch from the classic attraction. Now, a new update has come to our attention about this ride and we are excited to see what it means!
On Disney World’s website, the Haunted Mansion attraction currently shows a scheduled closure for August 7th through August 9th.
According to Disney, this is for routine refurbishment. We see these scheduled refurbishments pretty regularly across the parks, but this one, in particular, has us speculating.
As you may know, Disney officially confirmed during the D23 Expo last year that the Haunted Mansion in Disney World would be getting the Hatbox Ghost (!!). While they didn’t specify exactly when this update would happen, they did say that we could expect him to materialize in 2023.
Could this refurbishment include a Hatbox Ghost addition? We don’t know just yet, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more! As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news.
