We Ate Everything on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disney World — Here’s What We’d Get Again

Disney World has some amazing food, but is it all worth it?

We love Disney food!

From the snacks we regret buying to new snacks you can find in the parks, and even the Disney snacks you can get at home, I have lots of food opinions here! To make sure my opinions stay up to date, we like to eat a bit of everything in Disney World and recently we put all of the food on Main Street USA to the test! Let’s talk about what I would get again.

Disney World food is its own culture and if you’re anything like me, it’s one of the most exciting parts of your trip! There are always hundreds of snacks, treats, and new foods to try throughout the parks, so sometimes it can feel overwhelming trying to decide which food is worth your money.

Pym Test Kitchen and Pym Tasting Lab in Disneyland!

Recently, my friend Quincy and I put all of the food on Main Street to the test, and here is a list of everything we would get again! First, we’ll start at the entrance of Main Street at the Main Street Confectionery.

Main Street Confectionery

The Confectionery is a Magic Kingdom staple and an iconic part of Disney World. However, there are a lot of sweet treats to decide from and not all of them are worth it to me. If you’re gonna try anything at this Main Street spot, I recommend the cookie pie, a classic cereal treat, or a caramel apple.

A classic Mickey Caramel Apple!

A Classic Mickey Caramel Apple is a must in Walt Disney World. They’re sweet and chocolatey, but still technically a fruit so you don’t feel as guilty for eating too much of them. The way the caramel gets stuck in your teeth should be a universal experience, and I think you need to have at least one of these in your life. A similar sentiment goes for the cereal treat.

Cereal Treats!

While these might just seem like your traditional Rice Krispie treat, I would argue they’re not! These treats are so soft, and with the added chocolate and candy pieces on top, it tastes like a leveled-up version of your mom’s homemade treats. Make sure you grab the ones from the case because they are the most fresh! Finally, we think the cookie pie is a must-get.

Cookie Pie!

These cookie pies are unique, soft, and sweet! You can’t ask for much more of a dessert in Disney World and with rotating different flavors like Peanut Butter Chocolate and Brownie Pies, these desserts will keep you coming back for more.

Main Street Bakery

Moving further down Main Street, we’re going to check out this park’s resident Starbucks, or as Disney likes to call it, The Main Street Bakery. This location offers your traditional Starbucks coffees, teas, and foods but there is one item I think you should grab the next time you’re looking for a comfort meal.

The grilled cheese and tomato soup!

The grilled cheese and tomato soup from the bakery is a great savory way to take a break from all of those sweets! This soup and sandwich combo can be found in a few places around Disney World, and I love its ooey gooey simplicity. If you manage to be in Disney World on a chilly day, this is a great option.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

To continue our hunt for sweet treats, I’m going to tell you all about the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. This is the perfect stop for that post-firework dessert as you’re leaving Magic Kingdom, but there’s really only one special treat that we think is worth your money.

The ice cream parlor.

The Brownie Sundae is a famous Main Street treat for a reason, and it’s thanks to a warm brownie served with hot fudge, whipped cream, and your choice of ice cream on top! Pro-tip, if you really want to take it to the next level, add some of the hot peanut butter sauce and tell ’em Emma sent ya. (This is a joke, please don’t tell them Emma sent you, they don’t know who I am.)

The plaza serves Edy’s ice cream so if you’re not looking for something too fancy, you can go with my classic order — two scoops of chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone.

Casey’s Corner

We will be ending our Main Street USA food tour at one of my favorite spots, Casey’s Corner. Casey’s is a hot dog quick service that is a Magic Kingdom must-do in my opinion! First, I almost always get their famous corn dog nuggets, and I get a side of cheese for only $1 extra.

If you’re a plant-based eater, don’t worry! Casey also has an amazing Plant-Based Slaw Dog that I would order again, even as a non-plant-based eater. It’s somehow both slightly sweet, and savory — and super filling!

If you’re needing something to wash all of these treats down with, I would grab the Mint Julep! This non-alcoholic beverage is so tasty. It reminds me of a sweet, frozen lemonade with mint and I love it on hot days.

Finally, as if we haven’t had enough sweets, I would tell everyone to get a recently returned Baseball Brownie! It was missing during the 50th-anniversary celebrations, but it’s finally back and I’m in love with this little fudgy piece of happiness.

It’s back baby!

Overall, Main Street has a ton of amazing eats but I think the ones that we just talked about are the ones that are worth your money. If you want to see us try everything on Main Street USA, you can watch that video here!
