Sometimes new months bring new experiences to the Disney parks.
We know that the month of June is about to bring lots of new media to Disney+, and it also means summer will officially be here, so it’s time to prepare. But if you’re heading to Disneyland this June, there are some exciting new things you don’t want to miss out on!
Disney just announced that Disneyland Resort will celebrate Black Music Month in June with limited-time music and Celebrate Soulfully experiences.
Guests can experience nightly band performances by over 17 musical groups ranging in styles from Jazz Fusion, Caribbean, and Mid-Century Jazz. Inside the parks, the Hollywood Backlot Stage in Disney California Adventure Park will also have daily performances through June 30th.
Over at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests can enjoy music from acts like DJ Quami, Island Reggae Duo, and da-light. Performances will happen daily.
You can also experience specialty food and beverages through July 4th, like the BBQ Hot Link Sandwich. Yum!
WonderGround Gallery will host artist signing events with Ryan Riller on June 10th and Larissa Marantz on June 17th, so mark your calendars!
Additionally, the black-owned food truck Happy Ice will serve their signature desserts from June 9th to July 4th in Downtown Disney. As you can see, the treats are very photogenic!
Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars, because we’ll keep you updated as we head to check out all these offerings when they become available!
