Changes arrive in Disney World fast.

From new restaurants and updates on popular rides to complete ride overhauls, Disney is constantly evolving. And, with changes come construction. We often have advanced notice of these inconveniences, but occasionally it happens without warning. Recently, in Magic Kingdom, we were surprised to see a pretty major section of the park was walled off.
Right behind Cinderella Castle, in between Sir Mickey’s and the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table, a new set of walls have been set up.

These new walls block off a section by Sir Mickey’s, but the store remains open during this work.

While it is unclear what work is being done in this area, we have noticed that Disney started to remove the 50th anniversary decorations from the castle recently. This could be construction related to the further removal of these pieces.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation and let know you know as it develops, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!

Those walls are protecting guests from the crane stored on that location. It is used to put on and take off decorations on the castle, mostly before Christmas.
