Complete Guide to Disney’s Military Discounts

This article is a salute to all discounts, but mostly U.S. Military discounts.

If we’ve learned anything from Disney Parks, it is distinctly patriotic to honor those who serve our country.

Both Disney World and Disneyland offer special discounts for active and retired military, and we’ve compiled the details for the 2023 discounts to help you plan your Disney trip and learn the nuances of U.S. Military discounts.

Disney World Ticket Deal

There are a few options for 2023 ticket deals for U.S. Military members with the Disney Military Salute tickets.

• 5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
  • With the Park Hopper Option: $369 plus tax
  • With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $399 plus tax
  • Purchase now through December 11, 2023.

• 4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
  • With the Park Hopper Option: $349 plus tax
  • With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $379 plus tax
  • Purchase now through December 11, 2023.

You can choose park ticket options for 4 or 5 days, which are valid for visits this year through December 15, 2023, provided they are purchased by December 11th. They are subject to blockout dates, including:

  • November 19th, 2023 through November 25th, 2023.

Qualifying members can also purchase PhotoPass Memory Maker for a special price of $98 through December 15th, 2023.

Disney World Resort Room Deal

Armed Forces Salute room-only discount at Disney World.  Discounts are available through December 15th. The discount rate depends on the level of the resort, usually ranging between 30% – 40% off.

These discounts are valid most nights this year through December 15, 2023. Military personnel (active or retired) will need to call (407) 939-7830 for rates and to book.

These discounts include active or retired members of the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Spouses of Military Service Members also qualify if they are able to present valid and active US Military IDs in the absence of active or retired Military Personnel or Commissioned Corps Members.

In order to qualify, you must stay a minimum of one night to a maximum of fourteen nights. The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort are all excluded.

Additionally, the 3-bedroom villas and suites at moderate and deluxe Disney World hotels, the cabins at Copper Creek Villas and cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, The Little Mermaid rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are also excluded.

Disneyland Ticket Deal

Disneyland also has a ticket deal for U.S. Military members.

  • Without Disney Genie+ Service: $245 plus tax
  • With Disney Genie+ Service: $320 plus tax
• 4-Day Park Hopper Ticket
  • Without Disney Genie+ Service: $280 plus tax
  • With Disney Genie+ Service: $380 plus tax

These tickets can be purchased through December 11th, 2023, and used through December 15th, 2023. There are a few block-out dates, which include April 2nd, 2023 to April 15th, 2023.

Disneyland Hotel Deal

Along with saving at a Disney World hotel, you can also save when you stay at Disneyland as a U.S. Military member! A special rate is available on select nights from January 9th, 2023 to December 15th, 2023, with availability to book through December 11th, 2023.

Like the Disney World hotel deal, this excludes certain room types, including most concierge rooms and suites. You can book the deal by calling (844) 776-0015.
